Ted Silary did a great piece (does he do any other kind?) on Wilt the other day, in case anyone is looking for a HS hoops fix.

One of my old bosses actually graduated from Overbrook HS with Wilt.

Didn't Wilt score a hundred points in a game played in Hershey arena but there is not old film of that game..just a couple of still photos.  I think that was a pro exhibition game.

Coach, that was a regular season game in 1962.  Philly used to play a couple regular season games at Hershey every year.  Philly beat New York 169-147.  The amazing thing about that game was Wilt was a notoriously poor free throw shooter, around 50% for his career.  That night he was 28 out of 32.

True coach, no film & no tv coverage. Just a radio station airing the game. Somewhere online there is a recording of it.

A friend of mine was at the game at Hershey.  I'm pretty sure he has the ticket stub.

Also amazing about that game is that three Knicks scored 30 or more
