2020 MLB Schedule
« on: August 13, 2019, 08:11:33 AM »

MLB released the schedule for 2020 and for a change every team is going to have Opening Day on the same day.  The Pirates will open the season in Tampa against The Rays.

The Pirates will get AL East teams in crossover games next season.  Both the Red Sox and Yankees will be playing at PNC Park, so those are guaranteed to sell out.  The Red Sox series is over the 4th of July holiday as well.  Toronto also comes to Pittsburgh, which means the Pirates will be heading to Tampa (as mentioned) and Baltimore. The Tigers are their traditional 2 home/2 away series.

MLB will have the Cards and Cubs play a 2 game series in London.  Other novelties are a series in Puerto Rico for the Marlins, the Field of Dreams game in Iowa between the Yankees and White Sox, and the Little League Classic which won't feature a PA team for the first time: Boston and Baltimore get the honor next season.

The All Star game is set for Dodgers Stadium.
