I’ve wondered the same thing. I'm the #4 seed somehow which doesn't make sense.

Dunbar, Greensburg1, Falcons and Sto-Rox are all 9-3.

Dunbar beat Sto-Rox, lost to Falcons & Greensburg.  1-2
Greensburg 1 beat Falcons and Dunbar, but lost to Sto-Rox.  2-1
Falcons beat Dunbar, but lost to Greensburg1 and Sto-Rox.
Sto-Rox beat Greensburg1 and Falcons, but lost to Dunbar. 2-1.

Thus, shouldn't the standings be:
1.  Sto-Rox because 2-1 h2h tied with Greensburg1 but have victory over.
2.  Greensburg1 because they're 2-0 against Dunbar & Falcons.
3.  Falcons because of h2h win over Dunbar
4.  Dunbar

5.  Aliquippa 85ers at 7-5.

6.  is a 3-way tie.  I'd assume since you're all 1-1 against each other, it would go to total points scored?

I have head to head being there tie breaker for playoff seeding.  I know the 4 division winners should be the top 4 seeds and then next 2 best records

We do have a 3 way tie for 6th, so going to be a fun last weekend.

When my kicker has gotten the most points for me, you can probably think it is going to be a bad day

Division Winners:
Jack Mccurry Division: Dunbar Mules 10-3
Jim Render Division:   Brownsville Falcons 9-4
George Novak Division: Sto-Rox Mania 10-3
George Curry Division: Greensburg1 Zapps 10-3

Wildcard Winners:
Wildcard 1: Aliquippa 85ers 8-5
Wildcard 2: Indians 87 6-7

Wildcard 2 has a three way tie for 6th.  They all split the regular season at 1-1.  I know that ESPN next tiebreaker is points for.  Indians had 1,663.9.  KidRaven has 1,663., Who Dat had 1,547.3.  So, it went back to h2h between Indians & KidRaven to decide.  Insane that quite literally 1 yard all season would of changed the playoffs

Seeding
1. Greensburg1 Zapps (3 way tie for 1st, all split, they had highest PF at 1,976.1)
2.  Dunbar Mules (defeated Sto-Rox h2h)
3.  Sto-Rox Mania
4.  Brownsville Falcons
5.  Aliquippa 85ers
6.  Indians 87

So I missed the playoffs by 1 yard?  Awesome!

In some good news at least, I did make the playoffs in my pay league by winning this past week against the person in 5th.  The win caused us to finish tied, but I had the most points (3rd most in the league) to win the tie breaker.

I take on my good friend who is the 3 seed and was actively rooting against me as he said he doesn't want to play my team with McCaffery.

What the hell? Why are you making moves when you're eliminated from the playoffs?  I tried picking up the Vikings d/st

There is still a consolation bracket.  I figured in fairness to everyone it was busy as usual.  If anyone else has objections to consultation bracket teams still competing, please let me know.

Okay but you’re directly impacting the playoffs by making moves. If you want to do a consolation bracket, then fine but you shouldn’t be allowed to make moves for it.  Us 6 are trying to win the league, you shouldn’t have a say in it because you’re competing for 7th place.

Not trying to be rude by this, but I find this to be a huge fantasy dont

I am ok with everyone making moves but I never looked at it from that prospective.  I understand what you mean.  the more I think about it, I like what you are saying.  I am not sure that is even an option in the settings.  Something to look into for sure for next season.

On Yahoo the commish can lock rosters. Not sure about ESPN.

With that said we only lock the rosters of teams once they are done (eliminated from the Championship or Consolations bracket).

If the Consolation Bracket has a prize then absolutely they should be able to make moves. If not then IMO etiquette would be to defer to the Championship Bracket on moves (i.e. if I have both injured Chiefs RBs and need a RB or if I stream QBs and am stuck with Nick Foles I find it ok to wait until later in the week when everyone has had ample time to make Waiver or FA signings to make those moves.

Dynasty is an even more different story. I.e. this week I released Phillip Rivers to sign Kyle Allen in an effort to get younger. We lock rosters for ALL TEAMS including playoff teams tonight at midnight. So a second  QB or kicker or defense is almost a must at this point in that league.

Haven't we been doing this every year? Why is it a controversy now?

Because the teams that season technically is still alive should have first access to all of waivers. Making a move to finish 7th place? Come on. It’s not like This league has is a dynasty league.

In August, nobody is going to remember who the consolation winner is. Especially when we have teams that haven’t updated their lineups in weeks
