Donofrio semi finals
« on: April 16, 2019, 08:43:52 AM »

50th anniversary

@ Fellowship Hall, Conshohocken Pa.

cozy non conforming court, barely enough room to shoot a corner three. Had a bracket and rosters at the entrance. Three bucks for seniors. Next year will have to pay considerably more to see these players.

five rows of seats one side, 2 rows behind the benches. chairs at the one end and a through glass viewing area at the other. place was full.

Game 1  We R 1 97  K-Low Elite 69    half We R ! 52 - 29

We R ! Dixon (Abington) 20, Ingraham (Bonner) 20, Wong (Bonner) 19, Demby (?) 13

K-Low Bishop (Imhotep) 18, Turner (Sankofa) 17, Harrison (Cheltenham) 15, Ings (N. Goretti) 12

powerful inside game from We R !. Only made 4-3's. running clock at the end.

Game 2 Waterview Triple Threat 94 Hunting Park Markieff 91   half Hunting Park 53 - 50

Waterview  Riggins (Imhotep) 23, Nelson (Haverford School) 23, Hart (Roman) 22, Farmer (Shipley - Freshman) 13, Scott (Imhotep) 11

Hunting Park Watson (M.C.S.)  18, McAiley (Mastery North) 18, Reed (Mastery North) 17, Williams (Olney) 12, Fowlkes (St. Patrick's) 11

Hunting Park with a double digit lead with 4-5 minutes to go. Stopped pushing hard with predictable results. Threes stopped falling (I had them with 14 made, Waterview with 7) Watrerview made there F T ay the end.

I'll go with WE R ! for Tuesday's 7:30 final if the same casts shows up. Too much on the inside for We R !.

Last road trip of the year. A tank of gas will last 2+ weeks!

Wasn't that close. MVP'S were Wong (Miami) for WER1 and Scott (MD) for Waterview

Other standout players; Dixon (Nova) Ingraham (Wake Forest) Alexander Rice (Bucknell) Jameer Nelson JR (GW)

BTW Jah-Keish Demby is a 6'5" JR. from Christiana DE

Next year will be the 60th Donofrio
