Well, Boston won’t be swept as they defeated the Blues last night 4-2 and take a 1-0 series lead. Blues were up 2-0 but got sloppy and let Boston back in the game and win it

Very significant because to this point their record was 0-13 I believe!

Good for the Blues. In the year of sweeps none in the finals!

Blues defeat the Bruins last night 2-1 and take a 3-2 series lead but the game was not without controversy as St Louis gets away with an obvious tripping penalty. Not sure how the refs did not call it as they were staring right at it. Boston is obviously blaming the loss on this one call but of course we all know an entire game does not hinge on only one call.

But it was bad

Agreed on all accounts. St. Louis played a nice team game and Binnington was lights out again, but the last 10 minutes were tough for the refs and very well may have cost Boston the cup. I have been rooting against the Bruins all along (even ranking them behind Washington in terms of rooting interest at the beginning of the playoffs) but hate to see officiating cost anyone.

it's just a shame that this entire playoffs will probably be remembered for bad officiating in all rounds

Boston defeated the Blues 5-1 a few nights ago to force a Game 7 in Boston. IMO, St. Louis was not ready to play. They acted like they had already won the Cup and were ready to party and so did the fans. Boston scored the first goal of the game and the fans went dead silent.

Either the Blues will come out guns blazing next game or they will be all distraught an lose. We will see

Bizarre first period.

Blues up 2-0 despite Boston having an advantage in scoring chances 9-2.

13:39 left in the 2nd Blues still up 2-0.

Incredible pad save by Bennington and soon after Blues score to go up 3-0 with 8:00 to play.

Blues score again and this one is over.  Blues up 4-0 under 5 minutes.  Bruins with more shots and scoring chances, but Bennington is the better goalie.

Bruins finally break the Binnington brick wall and now have the goalie pulled.

4-1 with 1:14 to go.
