Expected Top 10 pick DL Jeffery Simmons of Miss State blows out his ACL while training for the Combine.  My guess is he still goes maybe in 2nd Rd?  Jaylon Smith of Cowboys and Sidney Jones of Eagles have proven you can get good return from Draft eligible injured stars if you're patient for that first season.

RBs were slooooow yesterday running their 40's at the NFL Combine.

Kylar Murray measured 5'10.  Will not work out, won't run, won't throw.  Just went to be measured.

TE Noah Fant from Iowa ran a 40 time this morning that would have been Top 10 in the RB group yesterday.

Seattle just traded Frank Clark to the Chiefs for 29th overall pick this year, 2020 2nd round pick, and the teams will swap 3rd rounders.

Seattle now picks 21st and 29th.

Also I may or may not do a position rankings in my mind.  Either way I will be starting my mock tonight and probably finish up tomorrow.  Most likely I will post tomorrow due to work.

I’ll post a first round one tonight to give you something to laugh at since I dissect what you both post each year.

I want the Steelers to draft Dexter Lawrence. Think the ILB problem will be solved on its own with a great nose tackle.

Couldn't agree more. With the way Heyward and Tuitt demand double teams and true NT eating up the center of an OL, that frees up LBs for other assignments besides pass rushing and makes it easier on the DBs. For the life of me, I cannot understand why the Steelers don't get this concept. >:(

I think this was a terrible move. But I hate Michigan so guess I could be biased. Don’t understand giving up picks to attempt to fill a void that probably can’t be filled. Shazier was a hall of fame player. Sometimes you need to change your scheme rather than trying to replace somebody that talented.

I get that but the player that they drafted is a tremendous football player and athlete. IMO hating this pick is overthinking things. I think that this may go down as their best round 1 pick since Shazier.
