Wow.  Who goes to a baseball game thinking there may be a disaster.  I always thought ducking foul balls was the only hazard.  Hope everyone recovers.

whoa..I was just at a game sitting between 2 fields and kept my head on a swivel in case of foul balls from the field to my back. Didn't know I had to watch the trees too. Hopefully that school has a budget surplus, medical bills and settlements for 10 people gonna get pricey. Unlucky

I heard that the field is surrounded by many large trees and that just a few weeks ago a large tree fell, but did not cause any damage to the field, etc.  Seems when that one went down they should have checked out the others that could potentially (and did) fall.  I am sure some lawyer will pick up on that and file a neglect lawsuit beyond just recovering medical costs.

think it probably has to do with the ground around here never freezing solid over the winter, then the rain. That's the blame for all the landslides. Big one on rt 30, little ones on rt 65(before Kilbuck Twp), 51(Fallston) and 51(Quip). Plus the earth just shifts a lot here, that's why it's the pothole utopia it is

Not sure where this Northgate field is but Bellevue is very hilly, flattest parts are rt65 and California Ave(main street)
