Steelers need to get all-in on Mychal Kendricks, the Eagles surprisingly cut the starting linebacker in cost cutting move(post June 1st designation). Probably wont happen, Steelers seem to be content with Bozic and the extra safeties(gonna use them in dime package). If the Steelers really wanted Kendricks they could of traded for him, Eagles have been trying hard to get a deal done, apparently nobody wanted to pay his 5.85m salary or they didn't have the assets to give up(possible with Steelers, Eagles dont need a backup QB or draft picks)

Jerald Hawkins suffered a torn quad in OTAs, likely landing him on IR for the season. Okorafor will now get OJT as the swing T.

Was listening to the Fan and Madden today and a lot of people are reporting from mini camp that the Steelers are very happy and impressed with Mason Rudolph. Most of the reports were saying that a lot of teams passed on him due to most if not all of his snaps in college were from the shotgun, not being able to make a play on the run and his "lack of command" of the huddle. Steelers are saying he has improved in all of these areas dramatically and some are reporting he might have the inside track on the backup QB spot over Landry Jones.

I'm sure they need to see him first in some preseason games and not just in workouts in no pads but this pick by Colbert does look promising. And how much of a genius will Colbert look like if Rudolph becomes the franchise QB after Ben or even a really good QB after trading away Bryant for that 3rd round pick to get Rudolph? Reports are out there also that Bryant might be getting suspended for failing another drug test. Couldn't find anything definite but a lot of sites are saying that a suspension is looming for Bryant

Steelers only have 6 days left to sign Bell to a deal or he will play under the franchise tag again. Anybody believe the Steelers will sign him to a long term deal?

I don't see anything happening. If anything a wash and repeat of 2018. Unless he and his agent are truly posturing, they are simply too far apart.
