@ Morgan State

10 bucks to get in, parking iffy, great $3 program. Snack bar standard.

Both Woodlawn and Millford Mill brought their full rockin' bands. Five minute halves and between games.  35 second shot clock now for the Md. public boys.

Woodlawn high scorer, #4 Garrison - 18, 8-3's and 8 of 14 FT
Hammond high scorer #4 Gordon - 1`0, 3-3's and 8 of 16 FT

close Woodlawn halftime 20 - 19 lead balloons as they find their shooting touch in second half.   final  Woodlawn 60  Hammond  30

game 2

Dunbar (Balt. city) - Millford Mill  (Balt. County)

Dunbar high scorers #5 Phillip 21 and #15 West with 18, 3-3's and 18 of 30 FT
Millford Mill high scorers #15 Goodwin - 14 & #10 Goodwyn 13, 5-3's and 11 of 19 FT

dreadfull first quarter (6-6). Millford Mill leads by 9 (43-34) going into 4th quarter. Dunbar out scores them 23-8 in 4th quarter to win 57-51. defensive pressure, made free throws and M.M. just plain got rattled.

game 3

Maria Goretti (Washington County) - Patterson (Balt. city)

Patterson high scorer #5 Mungo - 18, 5-3's and 7 of 10 FT
Goretti high scorers #5 Searcy - 17 & #30 Tsimbila 13, 6-3's and 9 of 13 Ft

close game till 4th quarter. Goretti up 2 to after 3. Three ball explosion and Patterson turnovers result in 61 - 47 win.

Patterson's best player from last year, junior Marvin Price, transfered out to the Evil Empire #3, aka. Huntington Prep. Evil Empires #1 & 2, Oak Hill and Findlay in no particular order.
