Actually, this is not that uncommon and happens in both public and private.  Micah Parsons, a 5 star recruit transferred from Central Dauphin to Harrisburg in mid season last year exactly the same way.  As long as both schools sign off on it, it's not a big deal.  Sounds like sour grapes from the Palisades folks.  They pretty much got stomped by Egan, so I doubt one lineman made that much difference.

This is a PIAA issue.  Transfer should result in inelgibility for 1 year from enrollment date at new school.

If Pa ever follows what most states, at least in the South, Mid-West and West Coast are doing there won't be any such rules. States were losing to much money trying to fight against transferring and just either throw the rules away or look the other way. Fighting that stuff causes so many headaches so just let the kids go where they want. They do it for non athletic reasons every day of the year and no one gives two hoots about it.

I'd like to see them all take their sports back to their own leagues.  They contribute nothing to the PIAA.  It's like going to a funeral watching them play in front of 3 fans.
