Ok, anyone thinking that Capel will come in..turn the program around and go back to Duke when Coach K retires in a few years?  :)

We probably should close out this thread and start a new one with the new era of Pitt BB.

Seems like Carr is gone, he's visiting Texas. OSU, and Minnesota are interested in him. He cant go to ACC schools or anyone on Pitt's schedule if he wants to be elgible immediately. Carr's the best player and the one Capel should try to keep. Let Luther and Ellison go.

Recruiting for the upcoming season is really hampered as basically all the 24 official visits have been used up, they will get 5 extra because of the new coach but if he has a lackluster first recruiting class fans shouldn't hold it against him. The 2019-20 class will be his first class where he has all the time and tools available to him to recruit.

I'm not expecting a whole lot for next year but hope he looks at JC guys instead of asking kids to come back he really doesn't want a year from now. JC guys will be graduating and out the way when his first recruits are ready to contribute

Shamiel Stevenson is staying.
Sounds like Jared Wilson-Frame may stay as well

I just read on Northpolehoops.com that Shamiel Stevenson also wants to leave.

nope, he has openly said he's staying after talking to Capel. Wilson-Frame and Kham Davis also. Stevenson was first to commit to staying after Capel was hired. The rest, Carr, Luther, Ellison etc haven't decided yet. Parker Stewart is definitely leaving. Been reported by many people including Goodman, Dokish, Rivals, and Shamiel's own instagram account
