All-time Wins List
« on: October 11, 2017, 02:09:25 PM »

According to my calculations, as of October 8, 2017:

The next win for Greensburg Salem will be # 690 all-time (trailing only New Castle-731, Jeannette-728, Aliquippa-704).
#5 Washington has now won 680 games all-time.
Next win for #6 Clairton will be #670.
#7 Monessen now has 660 wins.
Next win for #8 Beaver Falls will be #650.
#9 Rochester now has 647 wins.
Next win for #10 McKeesport will be #640.
#11 Beaver Area now has 636 wins.

Jeannette has had New Castle in its sights since hitting win #700. At that time I believe Newcastle was about 15 wins ahead of us.

Playing more playoff games has definitely helped cut into new castles lead.

Among JUST these all-time Top 11 teams, here's the win totals since start of 2012 season:

Clairton 72
Aliquippa 71
Washington 57
Jeannette 53
McKeesport 48
Beaver Falls 47
Beaver Area 44
Rochester 35
New Castle 32
Monessen 31
Greens. Salem 17

FYI--to your point EQ, I have Jeannette hitting #700 Sept. 11, 2015, with the Jayhawks' 2nd win of that season.
Jeannette has won 28 games since then.  New Castle has won 17 since that time.

Bob here's a piece of trivia.  If Aliquippa and Middletown, currently ranked 1 & 2 in AAA in several polls, run the table and make it to Hershey, the Quips would have 713 wins and the Raiders 712 going into the game.

I've seen that list, guys.
I've got the 11 teams from WPIAL there, though I have a couple slightly different numbers for a couple of them.

I'm looking for further down the list.

That can be hard, I know from trying to do basketball for 15 years. But I can tell you a whole lot of schools have their complete history on football if your lucky enough to get to the right person who will give it to you.

I believe Jeannette is at 734 and New Castle is at 735. If the Jayhawks winnthe WPIAL next week at Bobby Mo they will tie for all time wins in the WPIAL!

Up through 2011, Jeannette with 675 wins.
2012  10
2013   4
2014   9
2015  11
2016  12
2017  12 (not final).

I was just taking an educated guess on the actual numbers but I was correct that a win in the championship and we tie the Canes!
Thanks Bob for the update!
