World Series of Poker
« on: July 23, 2017, 11:13:14 AM »

as entertaining a tournament as I've seen in years comes to an end late last night when Scott Blumstein (Penn State Altoona!) gets a deuce on the river to come from down in the hand and wins all the chips.

good to see the amateur from England inject some life into the final table. he finished fourth.

now back to my 25 dollar home game buy in.

Funny...I probably haven't tuned in to the tournament in a few years (like almost anything else ESPN touches they go over the top with their coverage) but almost did the other day, then getting that "itch" watched WPT where Mike Sexton (a blast from the past for those of us who watched this stuff religiously circa 2004-2007) was in a tournament.

I spent many a college night playing Texas Hold'em lol!
