Cardinals tie it up 1-1 in the 5th but in the bottom of the fifth Moroff hits a big homerun off the right field foul pole to give the Pirates the lead 2-1 and they are not done yet

These "nibbler" pitchers drive me crazy. The Pirates should purge every one of them out of their system.

But the Sierra ball should have been SMOTHERED by Bell.
He's at the bag after holding the runner.
Instead of trying to backhand pick it, ll he has to do is knock it down, pick it up and step on the base.

And, now in the 8th, while it wasn't a good throw from Nicasio, the pickoff throw is a ball the Bell has to get.

Frazier gets on after being HBP, but Jasso and Cutch pop out weakly and Bell looks at a 3rd strike. He is having a rough game today. Pirates gotta hold the cardinals and score at least one in the ninth

Mercer with a double to tie the game in the 9th.  Now need to get him home for another walk off.

Intentional walk to Freese so Frazier walk off with a single.

Bucs use an error, a productive out (Polanco), a Mercer RBI double and a Frazier groundball single to walk it off and get a win!!!

Apparently, in an obvious home town scoring decision, Cervelli was given a base hit for the ground ball booted by the shortstop to open the ninth.

Nice win today. Williams is a guy I'm hoping they are starting to consider long term.

Osuna gets picked off at first to end the 2nd inning. In the few replays they showed, he looked safe to me. Surprised the Pirates didn't challenge that. Brewers up 1-0 after two
