BF 3rd in state? Lmfao! They will be lucky to finish 3rd in their conference.

Quip, CV and Beaver are all ahead of them. If we go 6-3 it will be a successful year. With graduates and transfers, we have to replace 21 starters lololol.

Looks a lot like just plugging teams in that are normally good, hope for the best, and at the end maybe somebody will think we actually know what we are talking about.

I think you're right billtown.  I know several of the teams listed in the top 10's have been gutted by graduation and there's no way they'll be state ranked after a couple weeks.

Since Ronnie Christ and Fred Sprunk left there were only two people, both working there at the same time, that every put any thought into what they were doing. They did it because it was there job and only because it was there job. Until three, four years ago, I knew most of them and heard that being said more often than not. I was told several times 80%, of people reading the paper won't know the difference anyway. I used to tell them no, more than 7o% do know your not doing your job. They didn't agree.

Agree completely Jerry.  The last guy at the Patriot that knew his stuff was Rod Frisco.  He did the research and actually knew the teams.  The Patriot News sports section completely sucks now.  It's gotten so bad, they don't even cover Legion and Sandlot baseball.  Used to hang out with Ronnie Christ Friday nights after the ball games at a local tavern.  I'd get more info and insight over a couple of beers than I could get in a year from the current Patriot News.

In AA - East

Sca
Dunmore
Neumann Goretti
S. Haven
West Catholic

I understand NG received an influx of former Del Val Charter students - The latter having closed it's doors.  Also heard some Imhotep players have transferred to follow former Imhotep coach Albie Crosby - who now coaches Goretti.  This could shake things up in eastern AA.

I have heard Dunmores qb is not playing this year - but they return a big physical o-line.

Sca returns Rb Garcia, qb hollenbach, wr Fleming, leading tackler halladay and entire o line and d line.

Haven returns a lot - graduated qb and kaylan bros (lb/fb)
